Accepting surplus equipment:
- Information Systems personnel, in the
course of their regular job duties, may be requested to remove old
computer equipment. It will be the responsibility of the
donating department to record inventory and/or serial number of such
equipment and forward appropriate documentation to the Purchasing
Department for inventory control purposes.
- Information Systems will properly store
the equipment.
- Information Systems will keep inventory
of surplus equipment and make such inventory available via the web.
Requesting surplus equipment:
- Department heads may request surplus
equipment by way of email to the Director
of Information Systems.
- The Director of Information Systems,
with the approval of the Provost, will determine the allocation of
surplus equipment.
